02 / The station

Getting started
on 10 meters.

My early setup kept things simple. A radio, a computer, and a hands-on way to try FT8.

From my QRZ station notes, February 2026.

03 / The operator

A long way
back to radio.

I first learned radio during U.S. Army training in 2003. The hobby came much later.

In 2025, I started experimenting with CB and GMRS. That led me to get my amateur radio license and start exploring 10-meter FT8 with the equipment I already had.
